What NextShow may access

• Anime titles, search terms, prompts, or page details that a user chooses to interact with through the extension.
• Visible information from supported tabs only when it is needed to provide the feature the user requested.
• Basic extension state such as preferences, recent activity, saved results, or dismissed UI state.

How data is used

• To return anime-related results, suggestions, and browsing utility features requested by the user.
• To remember extension settings and improve the user experience across sessions.
• To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the extension.

How data is stored

• Most extension preferences and lightweight usage state may be stored locally in the browser using Chrome extension storage.
• If a feature sends a request to a hosted service or third-party API, only the information needed to fulfill that request should be transmitted.

What NextShow does not do

• NextShow does not sell personal data.
• NextShow does not collect payment card information inside the extension.
• NextShow does not use unrelated browsing history for advertising.
• NextShow does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless clearly required for a user-requested feature.

Third parties

• NextShow may rely on hosted infrastructure or third-party anime, metadata, search, or utility services to return requested results.
• Those services only receive the request data needed to respond to the feature the user chose to use.

Data retention

• Locally stored extension data remains in the user's browser until removed by the user or deleted when the extension is uninstalled.
• Any temporary server-side logs or request data should be retained only as long as needed for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.
